Deep Guide
Friendships, Belonging and Social Confidence
It is painful to hear your child say that nobody played with them, or to watch them wait for invitations that do not come. It can be just as confusing when school says they are part of a group, while your child says they feel alone.

Before trying to build a bigger social life, find out what your child wants. Being alone and feeling lonely are not the same. Some children are content with a small amount of company. Some want friends but cannot find an easy way into the group. Others spend time with people and still feel misunderstood. The support needs to fit the actual problem.
