When the answer is no: understand the decision and choose the next step
A “no” can mean several different things. A GP may decide not to refer. A referral service may decline a request after triage. An assessment may conclude that a child does not meet diagnostic criteria. A school may decide against a particular adjustment while agreeing that support is needed. Sometimes there is no answer at all.

Those situations do not share one route. Before writing a complaint, gathering more evidence or asking somebody else, identify the decision you have received and who made it.
