Practical next steps

Ask the ALNCo to show how the learner's needs are recorded and what staff are expected to do in an ordinary lesson or unstructured part of the day. If an IDP is prepared, check that the action plan reflects the learner's views and can be reviewed against observable change.

If support is inconsistent, record two or three recent examples and bring them to the review. If you disagree with a decision, state the precise point that needs reconsideration. Keep NHS or Gwent pathway contacts in the same chronology, but name the organisation responsible for each next step.
